Youtuber Visibility. That's why you need to pay attention to how you look. If you film with a sparrow's nest on your head as you get up in the morning, you probably won't reach many people. Other people are looking at how you're dressed, your hairstyle, if your hands are clean and your nails too. And if you don't get everything right, you'll get a load of it in the comments, or you'll never get an audience.
- Dress colourfully and fashionably. Don't shoot in your grandfather's sweatpants, you're not gonna get anyone's attention. Stick your nose out of your sloo and ask your mother or sister if you look like a troll. Colourful clothes look better on camera than dark colours, but don't overdo it, you don't need the audience to go blind from your bright green T-shirt. The fewer pictures and garish patterns, the better.
- If your face is a mess, get rid of it. Your mother will help you again. You don't have to be ashamed of your makeup, it's not just Michael Jackon or Justin Bieber, it's all the actors. And they know why, if your skull gets shiny, you'll be as white as a skull. Even really faggy things like lipstick can help. The light natural color on the lips looks a lot more natural in the video than you think. Oh, please! Don't make up like a bitch, just a little bit of everything!
- Sit against the light, light background behind your back, no mole hole. There should be as much light as possible where you're shooting, but you only need one lamp for yourself. And watch out here. If you shine a harsh light directly on your xichte, you'll see every pimple and scar. Slap a flimsy quarter or a very see-through T-shirt on top of the light, the light will soften and make your skin look like a baby. See the article on lighting for more information. One lamp also casts shadows, if you're rich, point two at yourself to suppress the shadows.
- Don't blend in with the background. It's really stupid to sit in front of a white wall if you're wearing a white shirt, so wear a red shirt. Or a blue one. Or whatever you want, but not grey, white or brown. And if you can't change, put something dark behind you, a rag on the wall or a poster of Helen Vondracek (joke! Don't even try it!).
